Yoga Classes in Ouray
Hatha yoga is known to help a person gain a more vibrant physical and mental health through a series of asanas (comfortable, stable poses) that work with the systems of your body.
Slow Yoga is a slower Forrest Style Class (see description below) in not so hot of a room . Enjoy a great way to stetch and strengthen in a slower fashion and in not so hard of moves. This class is great for beginners, older & wiser people, pregnant mothers, injured, or anyone just wanting to slow down and take time out for themselves.
Forrest Yoga is a great class for those looking for it all, breath work, strengthening, and lengthening. The class is done in a warmer room, 80 degrees, so be prepared to cleanse your skin as well as your spirit. This class will make you work while giving you sweet in an upbeat empathetic fashion.
Sun Salutations are a fantastic way to build strength and flexibility while having a good time. Gently work into the movement of your body. Learn to really use your breath with this flowing class. Class consists of breath work, core work, 30 minutes of suns, a cool down pose, and savasanna. What more could a body want?
Pilates improves core strength, flexibility, agility and economy of motion through body awareness and exercise. This class is suitable for beginers as well as people familiar with pilates.
Private Classes For anyone with special needs, injuries, or people who have never done yoga and want to see if it could benefit them. We offer private classes with Paula, or Tracy. Privates are only $40.00 a session. Sessions last from 1 hour to 1.5 hours.
